SuperPath – minimalinvasive Technik zur Implantation von Hüftprothesen
Beim diesjährigen Symposium „Komplexe Hüftchirurgie“ in München referiert Dr. Henning Quitmann zum Thema SuperPath – für wen dieses neue Verfahren beim Einsatz von künstlichen Hüftgelenken in Frage kommt und warum.
Bei der Operation nach dem SuperPath-Verfahren werden Muskeln lediglich vorsichtig gedehnt und nicht durchtrennt. Die Gelenkkapsel wird vollständig erhalten und somit auch eine hohe Stabilität des Gelenkes. Mit speziellen Instrumenten wird die Hüftprothese durch minimale Einschnitte durch die Haut eingebracht. Der positive Effekt einer Hüftgelenksoperation ist für den Patienten so viel unmittelbarer und schneller zu spüren.
